Alias, Links, Shortcuts, et cetera (including WRbJ)

Works in Terminal (CLI) ### No. I.e., cannot use in pipes, to open destination references to. (Need to use WRbJ app to open.)
Size of file system “file” Apparently can vary a lot, from a few hundred Bytes, to KBs, and even MBs! Have quite a few alias files indicating size (in Finder) of 5.8 MB. Commonly 10s to 100+ bytes. 0 bytes (zero)! But shows size of original, source, file. ### Roughly size equals number of chars in file system path. (WRbJ v1.x gen). Commonly 20-a few hundred bytes depending on how deep into hierarchy and lengths of directories and filename.
  Comparing Commonly way larger than anything else. (Think 10 times Softlink, similarly compared to WRbJ) n/a n/a Way smaller than Aliases
